Thursday Tarot Tutorials: Autumn Harvest Spread
This week’s Tarot Tutorial includes a spread which unravels autumn's secrets.
What does autumn have in store for you? What will harvest season offer? This easy Autumn Harvest Tarot Spread will tell you….
I woke this morning to beautiful fog. Like every other Witch, I adore the sun-kissed trees this time of year, but the Pacific Northwest offers a different kind of gift in autumn.
We don’t have as many trees whose leaves changes out here in the ever-green land, but we do get these thick mists that coat the landscape on autumn mornings. This fog seems to hold secrets, and maybe the season does, too.
Therefore, this week’s Tarot Tutorial includes a spread which unravels autumn’s secrets.

Autumn Harvest Tarot Spread
1.) What will be in abundance
2.) What to savor
3.) What to share with others
4.) What to invest in (aka, replant!)
5.) What to compost (aka, set aside or let go)
The reading in action:
The querrent below is a hypothetical individual.
1.) What will be in abundance: Queen of Cups. A card of feminine love, beauty, and energy, the querrent will likely have the attentions of feminine people this season. If they are someone who dates women or feminine people…they will have a great season of love!
2.) What to savor: 7 of Swords. Sometimes called the card of the thief, the 7 of Swords indicates sneaking away with something. The querrent may do well to savor “stolen moments,” or some lovely time away. Maybe a trip to the country with their season’s love interest???
3.) What to share with others: 9 of Wands, Rev. The 9 of Wands Reversed indicates dropping a grudge, opening the self to trust, moving forward after a hurt. Perhaps along these themes of love, the querrent may want to open their heart.
4.) What to invest in (aka, replant!): The Emperor, Rev. When reversed, the Emperor speaks to toppling patriarchy and established structure. Given the themes of feminine energy this month, the querrent would do well to put the influences of feminine people or ideas ahead of antiquated, more patriarchal thoughts.
5.) What to compost (aka, set aside or let go): 9 of Pentacles, Rev. The 9 of Pentacles is a card of self-love and luxury, but when reversed, it can indicate selfishness. The Tarot wants the querrent to not center their own needs over others at this time. They may be on the cusp of bonding well with someone else…and need to make sure that person’s needs are being met!
