3 Reasons You'll Never See My Altar Online
Oh, you've seen pics...but guess what? They're fake!
Look at this pretty altar! It’s where you’ll see me do my Magick for TikTok and IG—a beautiful place to demonstrate Magick:
And guess what? IT’S FAKE!
That’s right! That beautiful staging above (and it is a literal staging) looks NOTHING like my real altar.
Being a public Witch, Tarot consultant, and guide, I need a place to demonstrate and inspire. Therefore, I bought a bunch of pretty things at the thrift store and made a staged altar for my public work.
My real altar is not nearly so neat, organized, or aesthetically-pleasing. If that picture above is the equivalent of the pretty outfit on the mannequin, my altar is the equivalent of the fashion designer’s workshop: lit with florescent lights, fabric scraps and needles abounding, and just organized enough to be functional.
And you, my beautiful public, will never, ever see it.
