Spiritual wellness is not all love and light.
How can money spells be effective if a Witch experiences guilt for wanting material comfort? Could a Witch truly attract love if they feel unworthy of it? Is it possible for a Witch to cultivate peace, either their own or peace in the world, when they are fueled by anger and resentment? Likewise, how can a Witch heal if they “love and light” an injury without processing it?
Magick is the path of the Witch…but Magick is for naught if the Witch is not spiritually well.
Join us for a virtual discussion on exploring what it means to be a Spiritually Well Witch, exploring Spiritual Wellness without Spiritual “By-Passing.”
Hosted by:
Carla Gaskins-Nathan
Organizational wellness consultant, ritualist, educator, healing artist, Licensed Massage Therapist. Carla is a iyawó in the Lucumí religión, currently training as a priest of Obatalá.
Courtney Weber
Award winning Witchcraft author of five books, including the forthcoming Sacred Tears: A Witch’s Guide To Grief. Courtney is a Witch, priestess, Tarot advisor and influencer, and a guide for the Magickally-Minded.
During our time together we will explore:
What does it mean to be spiritually well?
What does it look like to be spiritual well?
What does it not look like to not be spiritually well?
Attendees leave with a shared understanding/vocabulary of:
Spiritual Bypassing
Spiritual Wellness
Spiritual Hygiene
Attendees will start or continue a personal conversation about their spiritual wellness designed to support them along their journey. We will also explore the difference between accepting limitations versus clinging to grief, suffering, and/or trauma, and how to embrace peace without by-passing healing.
In addition, this conversation will provide space for those interested in applying for Meeting at the Ford: A Morrigan Immersion.
